Critical Wisdom: Cosmic Trinity & the Complete Set of Theories for Feng Shui Systems
The ancient beginnings of Chinese metaphysics stem from the study of yin and yang and it is a well preserved belief by all Chinese metaphysicians that heaven, man and earth (Tian Ren Di) have an innate relationship. This guiding principle of the “Cosmic Trinity” of Tien-Ren-Di is the core foundation of all complete systems of Chinese metaphysical study. All of the existing Feng Shui schools have their own complete systems of study governing all facets of the cosmic trinity namely heaven, man and earth (Tian Ren Di).
The Bazhai system of Feng Shui has its own elaborate method in selecting auspicious date (Tian) using the year/ month/ day/ hour to match with the house’s gua (Di). To complete the system, it also has a method for predicting the person’s fortune ((Ren). This simply means that in the school of Bazhai, to analyze a person’s birth chart, it plots the birth year ming gua/ month ming gua/ day ming gua /hour ming gua similar to that of the four pillars except it uses its intrinsic ming gua system. It also uses the luck cycle by plotting the birth data using the gua system to divine a person’s fortune. All together the Bazhai system contains the complete study to match and harmonize heaven, man and earth.
